They’re not exactly cutting-edge technology, but they’re a water bottle she can rely on to not develop leaks and to carry a crazy-huge amount of water (32 oz). She can also see inside the bottle, so she’ll know exactly how much water she has left. A loop handle makes these water bottles easy to carry or attach to a carabiner on a backpack.

Outdoor Gift FAQs
What to Get Someone Who Lives In the Mountains?
As someone who lives in the mountains in Colorado, I can tell you we face a few ongoing challenges. Here are some gifts to help!
- Layers – It can go from cold to hot to cold again in a hurry, and we’re constantly putting on outer layers, taking them off, and adding them back on again! Base layers like merino wool shirts, outer layers like windproof and waterproof jackets, and cute t-shirts for the 20 minutes when it’s warm are all much appreciated!
- Things for extremities – We can always use more warm hats, especially if they’re cute! Mittens and gloves also make great presents. Finally, warm socks that are a wool blend but not too thick so they can still be worn with shoes always make great gifts!
- Hydration help – You can get dehydrated quicker at higher elevations, even in winter! Water bottles, hydration packs, or water belts for runners all make great gifts.
- Skincare – Mountain air does a harsh number on your skin! Personally, I have 5 bottles of lotion scattered throughout the house, plus more in my car. Lotions, moisturizers, and sunscreen are all products that we need and use year-round.
